Zac celebrated his 2nd birthday on December 29th...
We invited some friends over for cake and ice cream.
He had a dump truck birthday cake. Fortunately Joe has some amazing dump truck carving skills, so it turned out pretty well. (The wheels were even sugar free :)
Zac has become an expert present opener. I love the look of curiosity on Truman's face in this picture!
Zac got a Tonka dump truck. It came as a two pack with the loader he got for Christmas. Poor kid, he'll probably be getting combined (or chopped in half - sometimes literally) Christmas and birthday presents for the rest of his life. But he loves his truck and likes to use his loader to fill the it full of blocks - and then, of course, dump the blocks all over the floor.
The last present came a few days late. My mom ordered a Thomas the Tank Engine toy and when it arrived (on the 28th) they had sent a Hawk Eye Video Camera. It is a helicopter that has a video camera in it. (Perfect for spying on neighbors?) Once the camera had been sent back, he got his train and thinks it is great!
