Christmas Trees and Presents...

The first weekend in December we went Christmas tree hunting. Zac didn't like it because the snow was so deep he couldn't walk in it. He did, however, enjoy riding in Phil's big truck and kept telling us 'Big. Truck.'

After hiking all over the mountainside Joe found the perfect tree. It was full and pretty and fit just right.

It even had a little bird's nest in it.

Zac was very helpful when it came time to decorate.

My mom made these really cute little bears in John Deere overalls to match our John Deere tree ornaments and lights.

One ornament stayed off of the tree so Zac would leave the others on. (It is now in pieces on the counter, waiting to be super glued).

Santa came and he was very good to us.

Zac was much better at opening presents this year and really enjoyed ripping off the paper.

Uncle Rhett, Aunt Desi and kids gave Zac a 'misher' (mixer). He thought it was great. He pulled off the wrapping paper and started jumping up and down saying 'op-it! op-it!' (open it).

After Zac opened his loader...

...my boys spent the entire afternoon playing with it. Zac even got a turn every once in a while.
